And then there were THREE!!!

I don't know how I've been able to hold this in for 14 WHOLE WEEKS, but I can't keep the secret any longer.
Baby Blaser is on it's way, due Oct 9th!! We couldn't be more excited!!!!

I've been VERY fortunate to have no morning sickness or nausea at all, but I am starting to wonder when that "second trimester burst of energy" is supposed to kick in.  So far, I'm getting nothing!

Campfire Cooking

Recipe for "A Fun Night and a Yummy Meal"
1 beautiful spring night
2 pair of good friends
4 meals and 1 cobbler prepared but left raw
1 warm fire filled with a generous amount of wood
A handful of charcoal briquettes
1 dutch oven
Directions: Gather the friends and mix into the beautiful spring night.  Light the fire and enjoy the warmth while the generous amount of wood burns.  Once the wood has turned to coals, add the 4 meals wrapped in foil and a handful of the charcoal briquettes to the coals.  Wait about 20-30 min checking often.  (Be careful not to puncture the foil while checking.)  While waiting for the meals, add the cobbler to the dutch oven and place several briquettes on top of the lid.  Once complete enjoy a delicious meal, an amazing desert, and a great night spent with even greater friends.

A Utah Weekend

Last weekend Brett and I took a quick trip up to UT to visit the Blasers.  We had a blast visiting with the family and playing with all the little kids.  Unfortunately, the only pics I got were of a spur-of-the-moment girls' trip to the nail salon for pedicures.  Some other fun moments I didn't capture: dinner with all the adults at Carver's, seeing "How to Train Your Dragon" with some of the kids, chowing down on Costa Vida and Nielsen's Frozen Custard, touring Shane and April's amazing brand new house, Brett's 30 mile bike ride with Chris, and of course, many entertaining games of Scum and Quelf.  Thanks Blasers for a great weekend!  We miss you all already!

Lazy Day

My INTENDED plans for my day off today:
Pick up the house
Put away our luggage from our weekend trip to UT
Deep clean the kitchen and family room
Finish all the laundry
Fertilize the palm trees
Prune the oleander bushes
Go grocery shopping

What I ACTUALLY did today:
Slept in until 10:00 am
Surfed the internet for 2 hours
Ate breakfast at noon
Laid out in the back yard for 3 hours engrossed in "Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins
Got dressed at 5:00 pm
Went grocery shopping
Played in my softball game

So much for being productive!
