Tips, Anyone?

I'm doing it.  I've decided to turn my blog into a book.  I've decided I've put way to much time into all the journaling and photo arranging that I need to have a hard-cover copy of this thing.  So.... since I know ALL of you are EXPERTS, does anyone have some tips for me?  I'm thinking about using blurb.com on Kalie's recommendation, unless anyone has had better success with another program.  Also, any secrets of the trade you wish you'd known before you started would be great.  Keep your fingers crossed and hope this doesn't take me until next January!  I'll keep you posted...

  1. I also recommend blurb. It is a great program, especially the newest version, it allows you to make your own template. I suggest to blog high resolution pictures so they transfer to blurb easier. Also, don't skimp on the size of book. Our first book was the smallest and now we wish we would have gone larger.

  2. I did my last blog through blurb (it took a ton of time, but like people have said, you get to kind of design it yourself.), but for my Project 365 blog, I used Blog 2 Print and I made it in under 2 minutes. Not as cutesy, but I could also include comments on this program. Anyway, they are both great. And by the way, the picture of Emri's old class makes me miss Arizona...one of the first times I've missed it! :) I showed her and she says she remembers all of you.

  4. That is sooo funny. I've decided to do the same thing with my blog this year. Last January, my new years resolution was to do a better job at taking pictures, keeping up on (digital) scrapbooking & to keep up my blog. I am proud to say I've successfully done all three. But now, at the end of the year, I'm with you, I want something to prove I did it. Also, I think it's a great way to keep up on our family history. I've heard about blog2print?? But honestly, don't know which program is better. Let me know what you find out.
